THE ROLE

M Booth is looking for a Senior Digital Strategist, Paid Media to support brands across the agency including lifestyle, consumer and food & beverage brands. This practitioner will work as the guiding hand in strategy development, implementation and management of digital paid media campaigns across Paid Social, Display, Content Syndication, Paid Search and other digital marketing platforms as needed. Qualifications/Experience

All About Recruitment, Talent and what is needed to be successful within this role:  

Ideally, we’re seeking someone who loves the thrill of the chase.  Being able to identify talent must excite you because you want to help the business succeed with hiring the best talent possible for the role. You love making lists, and consequently, love crossing things off those said lists.  We move fast and furious here at M Booth – in less than 2 years, we have hired 100+ new Boother’s (yes, 100!), so you must love being agile and seek to move with tenacity. Additionally, you enjoy finding talent, seeing who the next rock-star on the rise is, and helping our business leads look toward the future as we hire the next Boother – whether it’s now or in 6-8 months from now. This position is about building for the future, so in order to be successful for this role, you must be able to think about sourcing as your #1 priority.  

Responsibilities: 

Sourcing and Pipelining (70%):

  • Work with Talent Director, CFO & SVP of HR to understand the ‘hot requisition list’ prior to attending events in order to garner a pipeline of talent.
  • Meet with Key Stakeholders within M Booth to understand business needs and key areas to find future talent
  • Proactively source passive and active candidates via the following means to generate robust talent pipelines:
    • LinkedIN,
    • College and career fairs,
    • Social Media channels,
    • Job boards,
    • Employee referrals,
    • Additional creative avenues

 Junior Level Talent Acquisition (30%):

  • Partner with Talent Director on M Booth Internship Program and work to re-vamp program based on overall agency needs
  • Assist with on‐campus recruitment platforms and increase brand awareness among target schools.
  • Source and manage relationships with external organizations.
  • Oversee internal referral program, ensuring referrals are routed appropriately to Recruiters for review and consideration.

 Role Qualifications: 

  • 4+ YOE functioning as in Recruitment Operations or Sourcing capacity
  • Agency experience is preferred. Being able to effectively deliver top-notch client service experience is critical
  • A genuine passion for creating and enabling a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workspace
  • Strong project management skills (administrative acumen is key!)
  • A solid sense of humor

VP (Consumer Groups)

As Vice President of our Brand practice, you are responsible for running a section of the practice, growing pieces of business as well as the development and execution of client programs.  In this role, there is the expectation that you will have a solid understanding on how to manage up, manage down and be an effective communicator across all practices and among each group here at our agency. You possess expert client relations and counseling skills, as well as both people and agency management skills.  This VP is expected to be media savvy at the core, but also be a “jack of all trades” and understand strategy, how to acquire new business and have the ability to provide strategic thought leadership to an account or multiple accounts.  You are expected to sell in new projects and identify new business opportunities, and be fully capable to lead presentations.  As Vice President, you are not just leading and running an account, but responsible for mentoring and developing a team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a leader in account management and team performance
  • Budget Allocation: Oversee and approve budgets, reviewing client invoices and resource allocation
  • Mentorship: Responsible for the professional development of individuals on the Brand practice team
  • Responsible for profitability of client accounts and overall practice
  • Staffing Lead: Point person for all staffing conversations regarding staff development and revenue for the team
  • Resource Management: determine staff and resource allocation against accounts
  • Identify and secure resources needed for clients, campaigns, and staff
  • Lead brainstorming for client programming
  • Provide high-level client counsel on program, setting strategies, manages client expectations
  • Sell in and negotiate client programs and budgets
  • Maintain key relationships with clients
  • Identify and assess new business leads, managing the creative and programming teams
  • Serve as senior media consultant for the team and client

Requirements:

  • 8-10 Years of total experience within the PR space
  • Expert-level client relations skills
  • Have a strong sense of gravitas and the ability to command a room and be a strong vocal point of contact
  • Deep client networks that span multiple verticals
  • Maintain a POV for clients and be strategic in how to relay said POV
