Account Executive (Consumer)

M Booth, an award-winning integrated communications agency, has an immediate opportunity for an Account Executive to join our growing Consumer Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day client lead in ongoing account communications  and lead project-based communications with client
  • Drive media coverage, help lead team in overall earned media efforts ensuring to meet/exceed client KPIs, and develop/maintain relationships with key media contacts
  • Oversee always on reporting needs including weekly reports, ongoing earned media tracker and help lead larger reporting needs such as monthly, quarterly and yearly reports, as well as influencer and activation reports
  • Execute influencer programming from influencer identification, negotiation and contracting to overall management of relationship and content
  • Manage mid-size projects such as desksides, mailers, media events, influencer programs, sampling programs, etc., including managing M Booth specialists and resources as needed
  • Participate in brainstorms to share creativity and help develop news-generating ideas 
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop strategic partnerships and tactical plans
  • Manage out-of-pocket/expense budgets
  • Direct and manage the work of more junior-level teammates 

Requirements:

Assistant Account Executive

As an Assistant Account Executive on the Lifestyle team, you will own many of the intricate details that keep our accounts running smoothly and our clients in a happy, thriving place.   You’ll step into a client-facing role on the team, keeping clients apprised of our latest updates – from secured media coverage to articles relevant to their business.  You’ll be challenged to proactively come forward with ideas, interesting news and trends and make the time to curate the right relationships outside of the office with the media and influencers that are relevant to your clients and team.  You’ll manage media relations efforts, oversee monitoring, contributed to influencer programming, supporting social media teams, have dedicated roles at key events and from time to time be involved in partnership opportunities and new business. 

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain media monitoring and lists
  • Compose press materials
  • Media and social influencer outreach; securing print and online coverage for clients through media outreach and pitching
  • Proven track record working with contacts and influencers within the lifestyle / spirits world
  • Understanding of digital and social media, plugged in to editorial trends
  • Plan and coordinate client events: logistics, supplies, staff, equipment, RSVP tracking etc.
  • Work with vendors supplying event: Caterers, designers, freelance staff
  • Conduct research online on client and competitors, market landscape, media landscape
  • Create and maintain online media and blogger lists, monitoring coverage
  • Participate in client special event
  • Help draft and transmit client reports and updates
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and managing Interns
  • Oversee work of Account Coordinators and Interns when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ demonstrated experience in an agency setting
  • Proven track record in the premium wine/spirits/food/luxury/lifestyle sector
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media, plugged in to editorial trends
  • Proficient in vendor software, Cision, etc.
  • Adept at media + influencer relations
  • Strong writing and account management skills (candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented and great multi-taskers)
  • A team player and go-getter attitude with an open mind and strong sense of humor

Associate Digital Strategist

M Booth is looking for an Associate Digital Strategist to support its rapidly growing Digital Practice. The team supports a diverse set of clients around the agency, but the immediate need is on the multifaceted Google account. A few things to know before applying:

More specifically, the job requires:

  • 2-4 years of experience working in social media, in an agency setting or in-house, with expertise across core channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and LinkedIn
  • Strong writing skills (social media writing a plus)
  • Has run a content calendar for a brand(s)
  • Has done some form of social media measurement and experience using platforms, including SimplyMeasured, Sprinklr, Sysomos, Google Analytics, and/or Crimson Hexagon
  • Good at time and project management (administratively sound)
  • Is intrinsically motivated, takes ownership of projects and follows them through to the end
  • Can stay centered and work effectively in a fast-moving environment

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with paid social campaign development and management
  • Experience working with project management platforms such as Basecamp, Asana, Trello, etc.
  • Experience in client management as well as managing third-party relationships, including vendors and partners

  •       Strong statistical, writing, and public speaking/presentation skills
  •       Primary and secondary research experience and sample design knowledge

  •       Command of secondary databases, such as MRI
  •       Ability to identify and vet new vendor partners as well as new research methodologies
